SPRING PLANT SALE – THIS SATURDAY 3/31!

SAVE THE HUGHES LIBRARY
SPRING PLANT SALE

Saturday March 31st
Hughes Middle School/Longfellow Upper Playground
California Avenue at Bixby Road
9:00am – 3:00pm

The Hughes Green Team and the Green Lab Urban Farm will host a spring plant sale to raise money to keep a full time library at Hughes.  Due to severe budget cuts the library is currently scheduled for 50% closure.

This is wonderful! Unfortunately I will be out of town on Saturday. I will have to go by the garden on Spring. I am just beginning my Lawn2Garden Program through the City and there are many plants and flowers on my list that I would like to purchase!
Good luck, and I look forward to placing an order!

  2. Can’t wait! Would miss it for anything. My community garden is almost ready for my spring vegetables to be planted. Looking forward to purchasing some plants and supporting Hughes!

  3. Excellent efforts on the part of The Hughes Green Team and the Green Lab Urban Farm! I will immediately spread the news and make it a point to come out and support the admirable cause!

Come on out everyone on Saturday, March 31 (as in tomorrow) and make your personal contribution towards raising money to keep a full time library at Hughes Library and go home with lots of great plants for your gardens!
