We just launched a fundraising program with the Hughes Middle School Library Team. And it is something we all need more of – Healthy, local and sustainably grown produce!! Anyone can support the Library and our wonderful librarian, Dr. Taylor by participating is our Farm Box Program we call Food for Thought! We have made this program as convenient, flexible and customizable as possible…read on for details:
The Food for Thought fundraiser is a great way to help save the Hughes Middle School Library and our beloved librarian Dr. Taylor!
The farm box consists of produce that is local and sustainably grown (no harmful pesticides and organically fertilized). Inside each box, you will find a minimum of 10 different types of fruits and vegetables, which will vary slightly from week to week and vastly as the seasons change.
For every Box o’ Produce you purchase $5 dollars goes directly to the library fund! The boxes start at $30 each and you have your choice of once or twice per month or weekly – it’s up to you.
It’s convenient, it’s healthy and it’s easy to participate!
The Hughes Middle School address is our unique code –
3846TUE for Tuesday pick up and
3846FRI for Friday pick up.
The referral code also insures that we get proper credit for every box….so don’t forget to put that in!
You may also stop by the Farm Stand and leave a check or cash the week before you wish to begin receiving your produce. You will receive a receipt for your order and make sure you choose the pick up day!
Picking up your Box o’ Produce:
The pick up is either Tuesday or Friday from 10am-5pm at the Farm Stand.
The Farm Stand is located right at the corner of:
Elm Avenue and Spring Street.
Heading south on Elm Avenue, the Farm Stand is on the right side of the street just before Spring. 3031 Elm Avenue could be used for GPS.
